Manobo Dictionary:
of Manobo as spoken in the Agusan river valley
and the Diwata mountain range.

This book is a dictionary of the Manobo language spoken in large areas of the Agusan river valley and on the eastern slopes of the Diwata mountain range in the northeast of the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. This dictionary of about 5,200 main entries (mostly root words) is primarily for the Manobo people, but is full of useful data for those wanting to learn about the Manobo language. The dictionary does not include example sentences, but does include a brief pronunciation and spelling guide, a list of the common verb affixes and verb affix combinations, an English-Manobo index, and illustrations.

2000. Teofilo E. Gelacio, Jason K. L. Lee and Ronald L. Schumacher, comps. xii, 208pp.
